Kehro — Vuorenpykälä
Band Kehro plays instrumental music that includes elements of lounge, folk, latino, afro, and bossa nova music. The name Kehro comes from a village in Finland.
Vuorenpykälä* is the first single from their forthcoming fourth album Oinas, out in january 2026.
*Vuorenpykälä continues the endless Kehro village tours and historical true stories of Häme rural landscape. In addition to this single release, Vuorenpykälä is one of the 23 crofts of the Laurila Manor, which gained independence even before the 1918 Civil War and the subsequent the Land Tenancy Act.
Kehro also is a tiny, outlying village in Urjala Municipality, 170 kilometers northwest from Helsinki, Finland. The village got its name from a hunter, who settled down there for more than 500 years ago. Today there are less than 50 inhabitants left in Kehro.
